1. Natural Curls

Natural curls & curl bangs are a whole popular trend coming out of the mouths of hairstylists around the globe.

Try asking your hair stylist for long, face-framing layers (this often gets confused with curtain bangs; a curtain bang is a bang, meaning shorter than your eyeballs, while face-framing layers are typically chin-length or a little shorter). You can easily style these in a way to mimic bangs without having to deal with the short cut. The Natural curls are coming back stronger than ever!

2. Braided Pigtails & Tendrils

Just as you thought that this trend was fading, the braided pigtails & tendrils have been trending this past 3 months in the year of 2021. Karen Wazen & Hailey Bieber look very snatched in those braids. It pulls back your hair & gives you a very defined, clean & a polished look to your face.

3. Head Scarf

If you want to keep your protective hairstyle fresh & sleek & also if you want to wash your hair less , or even hide unwanted roots- a headscarf is always a great idea. Not only is it hella-cute but if you use a silk bandana or silk scarf, it’ll reduce & prevent the frizziness. What’s not to love?

4. Curtain Bangs

They are the new big hair trend that is going to boom in the year of 2021! Although no one saw it coming but this hair trend started on TikTok & is now going viral!

5. Keeping It Natural!

We’re seeing a lot of natural texture right now. I think due to lockdown, people gave themselves a chance to see and appreciate their natural hair texture and so many people embraced it and invested in it. So for 2021, I feel we will see that come through and see people get more creative and playful with natural hair styling.

6. 70's Inspired Hair Cuts

Natural curls, bangs, shags, layers, and so much more are a whole new and a popular trend coming out of the mouths of hairstylists around the globe.

Not ready to go full-force into a curtain bang or shaggy cut? Then try asking your hair stylist for long, face-framing layers (this often gets confused with curtain bangs; a curtain bang is a bang, meaning shorter than your eyeballs, while face-framing layers are typically chin-length or a little shorter). You can easily style these in a way to mimic bangs without having to deal with the short cut (perfect for people who dislike hair in their face, or work out or sweat a lot).

To all the ladies out there with their natural curls, you should start embracing those curls to the world!

The '70s-style bangs are a small tweak that can make any existing haircut feel fresh for the new year. The retro look can be adapted by virtually any hair texture, including natural hair like Yara Shahidi's 3C curls. "We will see more curly girls embrace the '70s trend with bangs and shorter face framing pieces that really enhance the shape of their natural curls," Marjan shares. "As with all curly haircuts, make sure your stylist cuts around the front dry and leaves it a little longer than you think so the curls don’t bounce up too much."
