Conference Details
"Community Awareness Conference & Fair"
It is sponsored by the Emirates Towers Office & Chamber of Commerce. The one-day conference will bring together community business, civic & social services leaders to discuss how they can raise awareness to the needs & services available to disadvantaged populations in the community.
Dates:
Friday October 17 from 4pm-8pm
Saturday October 18 from 9am -8pm
What is going to happen?
We will be having several booths, each booth will include one 3x6 table, & there will be televisions & video monitors.
There will be people serving food, coffee, tea designed at each location throughout the fair.
Media Coverage:
TV Channel on SkyNews Abudhabi will broadcast live throughout the events, and it will be aired on the evening shows on Friday's & Saturday's. They will typically feature the live action with vendors that have the activities or interesting giveaways, especially for the younger children. The Emirates Towers newspaper will also likely send a reporter & photographer as soon as the Fair opens on Friday for the Saturday edition.
The Emirates Towers newspaper annual "A Focus on Our Community" supplement is published in September, two weeks before the Fair, & advertising space is available.
ValleyLINK Focus:
ValleyLINK will feature the "SeniorLINK" program as its booth, focusing on the mental health benefits to the involved senior citizens. ValleyLINK has produced a five minute video of seniors & their students partners discussing the program & can likely get several senior-student pairs to engage in interactive computer activities at the booth.
